My name is Ken Skinner. I have been in the liquor business since 1971. I started out in an OLCC State Liquor Store in Medford. After a couple of years I was promoted and moved to Portland. In 1978 the store I was managing converted to a Liquor Agency. About a month later the OLCC asked me if I would come to McMinnville and temporarily run the Agency. I applied for the Agency and the OLCC appointed me as Agent. In the past 34 years, I've grown the store from 500 sq. ft. to 3000 sq. ft. About 10 years ago my future wife Ann came to work at the Liquor Store. We were married in 2008 and have been running the Liquor Store together ever since. At present, we carry around 1400 different liquor products. Our policy is to try and carry the product our customers want. If we are asked for something we try to find the product. Sometimes that is impossible, but more times than not, we are able to bring these products in. We carry a large selection of mixers, bar supplies and tobacco products. Again, our policy is to carry the products that our customers want. If we don't have it, we will try and get it.
